Your Role with the Company:

Your role as a clinical medical assistant is providing direct patient care. As a clinical medical assistant, you'll handle tasks such as taking vital signs and recording symptoms, preparing patients for examinations, administering medications, and supporting physicians during examinations. Patients rely on you to remain comfortable during the their exam and procedures and the providers will rely on you to make sure their days run smoothly. You might also use your skills at multi-tasking to assist the front desk with checking patients in and answering phone calls. Medical Assistants are the backbone of any healthcare provider's office.

This office is conveniently located off I-75 and Holly Road. With Genesys Hospital right around the corner, you are close by several fast food and restaurants.

Experience Profile:

Successful completion of a Medical Assistant externship or equivalent experience
Prior Gastroenterology or Endocrinology experience is a plus
Working knowledge of AllScripts EHR
Organized and able to multi-task
Comfortable working in team settings and individually
