Your Role with the Company:

The Surgery Scheduler ensures the flow of the office runs smoothly on a day to day basis. It is up to you to set pre- and post-op appointments in addition to scheduling the operations. Patients will feel calm when speaking to you about what to expect on their procedure date. Collecting medical records, informing patients of any payments for medical charges, and answering patients questions are some of your day-to-day tasks. You'll be the one who sets the providers' schedules and ensure all test results are on file so the patients are cleared for surgery.

• This office is conveniently located off I-75 and Holly Road. With Genesys Hospital right around the corner, you are close by several fast food and restaurants.

Background Profile:

• 2+ years’ experience in a medical office setting (specialist or gastroenterologist office preferred)
• AllScripts experience is a plus
• Prior scheduling experience is required
• Comfortable speaking with patients and providers over the phone
• Organized and able to work with time-sensitive tasks
