Your Role with the Company:

The Insurance Verification Specialist is one of the backbones of the office. It is up to you to ensure that patients’ health care benefits cover required procedures. A critical function of the position is entering data in an accurate manner, as it is your job to update patient benefit information in the organization’s insurance system and verify that existing information is accurate. Additional, you will confirm if the patients require any referrals or prior authorizations before coming in for their procedures. 

Location:

• This office is conveniently located off I-75 and Holly Road. With Genesys Hospital right around the corner, you are close by several fast food and restaurants. 

Background Profile:

• Experience in obtaining insurance verifications and prior authorizations
• Prior Gastroenterology or Endocrinology experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of PHO REACH is a plus
• Organized and able to multi-task
• Comfortable working in team settings and individually
